There’s nothing quite like the joy of sharing stories with young readers, and I had the privilege of doing just that at Lake Linden-Hubbell Elementary!
I spent time with Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students, reading my books and watching their faces light up with excitement. Their curiosity, laughter, and enthusiasm made every page turn extra special. There’s something magical about introducing young minds to the world of storytelling and imagination!
With the 3rd-grade students, I took things a step further—teaching them how to become authors themselves! We explored the writing process, from brainstorming creative ideas to crafting engaging stories. Seeing their creativity come to life was truly inspiring. Who knows? Maybe some future bestselling authors were in that classroom!
It was a day filled with adventure, learning, and the magic of books. Thank you to the amazing students and staff at Lake Linden-Hubbell Elementary for such a warm welcome. I can’t wait for the next story-filled adventure!
